Cat Kjesbu is a multi-disciplined creative with a deep background in performance, writing, and hybrid artistry.

Once, though, she was just a little girl in rural coastal California with the woods, the sea, and her stories to keep her company. Big books, little books, quick reads and slow, molasses-thick ones. And each one, no matter how frivolous or plain, planted its seed. They stoked her curiosity—showed her people she could never be, places she might never go, and ideas she could not have found on her own. Even the Chic Lit had something to teach.

That love of story grew into her life’s work—writing her own and helping fellow creatives bring theirs into being.

When she isn’t busy blending art and anthropology to guide writers, she can usually be found refining her knife skills in the kitchen, roaming the coast, or working on her upcoming literary sci-fi, Night Shift.
